Lot-O-Pines Delight @ 5Delight has certainly excited us as she has really grown into herself and has developed an excellent udder, particularly her long, strong fore-udder. She could use a little more rear leg angulation and a stronger back.
2011 Update: Delight has now earned her Superior Genetics award. She is a 4th generation recipient of this award. She also finished her milk record with almost 2900# !!! YEAH Delight !!! The highlight of 2011 came at our appraisal when she thrilled all of us with her score of 91 EEEE! Needless to say, we were 'Delight'ed with her. She along with her dam, Chana, appraised with more traits in the ideal ranges than any of our other does in 2011. We have kept her buck kid from this year!
2012 Update: Delight received Grand Champion and Best of Breed at the Spokane NEWDGA show in June under Jennifer Lohman/Peterson. She has been milking very well in 2012 finally peaking out at 121 days at 13#. She has been on our dairy string in 2010, 2011, and 2012.
